Narayani is an Australian artist living and working in Fremantle. She studied at Claremont School of Art in the 90s, majoring in Sculpture.
Narayani has a range of ceramic work. In her sgrafitto series, she has combined clay with her love of line and colour to create fun, unique, contemporary pieces which are fully functional.
She is also passionate about Raku and pit firing, primitive firing techniques which produce stunning effects. These pieces are purely decorative.

Her first love of photography has been a continuing adventure, and an interest in textiles and fibre art is growing.
Narayani has had several successful exhibitions and her work can be found at Mundaring Arts Centre, Payet Gallery (Margaret River), Found (Fremantle Arts Centre) and Lawrence Wilson Gallery (University of Western Australia)

The name Dreaming Dog was inspired by her kelpie cross, Tootsie, a dog of many dreams.
